From Xbase in Sweden to Talla in the Gulf
Where the experience starts
The engineers who would become Talla were already shipping production software — seven years of combined experience across backends, databases, and the systems businesses quietly depend on.
Xbase — built for Sweden
We founded Xbase and spent three years engineering backends and databases for companies in Sweden. High-uptime systems, real data, real scale. European engineering standards became our baseline, not our ambition.
Talla — built for the Gulf
A year ago we rebranded to Talla and turned toward the Middle East. Same five engineers, same standard — now applied end to end: the website, the dashboard behind it, and the backend that runs both.

The standard, written down
Handmade, not churned out
Every line is written and reviewed by a senior engineer. No template farms, no copy-paste builds. The craft is the product.
Full-stack, one team
Frontend, backend, database, deployment — handled by the same five people who started in systems engineering, not just page design.
Arabic-first, RTL-native
Arabic is designed from the first pixel, never translated in afterwards. The whole stack respects how the Gulf actually reads.
We stay after launch
We built the system, so we keep it running — updates, security, performance. You get the engineers, not a handoff to a ticket queue.

Small on purpose
Talla is five engineers — and we intend to stay small. A small team means the people who scope your project are the people who build it, and the people who build it are the people who answer when you call.
Talla is led by Mohammad Ali, founder and CEO. The studio's roots are in backend and database engineering for European companies; today that same discipline goes into every site, dashboard, and API we ship in the Gulf.
